These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern the text messaging programs operated by Virtual EstimateAI, Inc. ("VirtualEstimate," "we," "us," or "our") in connection with the website https://virtualestimate.ai and our AI-powered estimating and CRM platform for moving companies (the "Services"). Text messages are delivered through our messaging provider, Twilio Inc. (twilio.com).
By opting in to receive text messages from VirtualEstimate or from a moving company using our Services, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Program Description
Depending on how you interact with us or with a moving company using our platform, you may receive the following types of messages:
(a) Transactional and account messages, including:
- secure account access links ("magic links") to sign in to the customer portal;
- estimate requests, quotes, and estimate status updates;
- appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, and move-day notifications;
- document, e-signature, payment, and deposit notifications;
- customer service and support responses.
(b) Marketing and promotional messages (only where you have separately and expressly consented), including offers, product updates, and promotional announcements.
Messages may be sent by VirtualEstimate directly (for example, to users of our platform) or by a moving company using our Services to communicate with its own clients. In the latter case, the moving company is the sender of record, and VirtualEstimate transmits messages on its behalf.
2. Consent and Opt-In
You consent to receive text messages by providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive texts — for example, by submitting a form on our website or a moving company's portal, checking an opt-in box, replying to an invitation message, or providing verbal or written consent to a moving company using our Services.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Marketing consent, where requested, is obtained separately from transactional consent.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your activity and interactions (for example, the status of your estimate or move). Recurring messages may be sent. You will not receive marketing messages unless you have opted in to them.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received, according to your mobile carrier's plan. Contact your carrier for details. VirtualEstimate does not charge for text messages, but you are responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier.
5. Opting Out
You can cancel the SMS program at any time:
- Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program.
- You may also opt out by contacting us at [email protected].
If you have opted in to messages from a specific moving company, texting STOP will unsubscribe you from that sender's messages. If you wish to rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time or reply START, and we will resume sending messages to you.
6. Help and Support

7. Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is available on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and others, as well as certain regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
8. Privacy; No Sharing of Mobile Information
Our collection and use of your personal information in connection with the SMS program is described in our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent for text messaging will not be shared with any third parties, except with vendors and service providers (such as Twilio) acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages you have requested. All other categories of data sharing described in our Privacy Policy exclude mobile opt-in and SMS consent data.
9. Your Responsibilities
You represent that you are the account holder of the mobile phone number you provide, or that you have the account holder's permission to enroll it. You agree to notify us promptly (or update your information with the relevant moving company) if you change, deactivate, or transfer your mobile number, so that messages are not sent to a reassigned number.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) to participate in the SMS program.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Text messages are provided "as is" and may not be available in all areas at all times, and may be subject to transmission limitations, delays, or failures outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VirtualEstimate is not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages, or for any actions taken or not taken in reliance on a text message. Time-sensitive information (such as appointment times) should be confirmed through the customer portal or directly with your moving company.
11. Changes to These SMS Terms
We may modify these SMS Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on our website. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised SMS Terms.
